Bayterek

Kempinski Private Residences Bayterek Almaty is situated between Seyfullin Road and Timiryazev Road, in the exclusive Bostandik district of Almaty, overlooking the spectacular landscape of Alma Ata.

Almaty has around 2.8 million inhabitants and is one of the most important cities in Central Asia. A centre for finance, business, culture and education, the city plays host to a cosmopolitan community of students, tourists and expatriates. Kazakhs, Russians, Uzbeks, Germans, Poles and Chinese are just some of the nationalities which make up this extraordinarily racially diverse community – Almaty is truly a cultural crossroad.

Almaty is named after the old orchards for which it is famous, and offers visitors and residents a wealth of cultural and historical treasures: the magnificent Presidential Palace, the blue-roofed Kazakh Museum and the Silk Road – Zhybek-Zholy, nicknamed “Arbat”, haunt of Almaty’s bohemian artist community.

The highest Olympic ice stadium in the world is close by in Medeu, where more than 180 world records have been set and broken. The mountain spring water swimming pool below the ice rink is just the place for an invigorating summertime dip – at just 15 degrees Celsius, it is not for the faint-hearted. 200km to the east of Almaty lies the second largest canyon in the world: the Charyn Canyon.

Kempinski Private Residences Bayterek Almaty is conveniently placed for access to the Medeu complex, all the facilities of the Kempinski Hotel Bayterek Almaty and roads to the Almaty International Airport, which is served by many international carriers.
